艺丽控股（AHB，7315，主板消费股）最近计划进军高科技领域，例如半导体和无人驾驶汽车生产业务。
在过去几个星期，艺丽控股一直在邀请多家来自台湾的大型半导体公司、无人驾驶汽车开发商及合作伙伴在马来西亚设立他们的海外工厂。
目前，台湾半导体业务的大财团分别为台积电（TSMC）、联华电子（UMC）和富士康科技集团（“Foxconn”）。
据了解这项交易的消息人士透露，艺丽控股2月18日成功与来自台积电的合作伙伴举行了一次具有重大意义的会议。这些合作伙伴已准备与艺丽控股合作，在马来西亚建立高科技半导体工厂。消息人士表示，他们将在一两周内飞来马来西亚，以正式签署有关承诺的协议。
台积电是台湾一家跨国半导体代工和设计公司。它是全球最有价值的半导体公司，全球最大的专注独立的纯半导体代工厂，也是台湾最大的公司之一，它的总部和主要业务基地位于台湾新竹科学园区。

Semiconductor partners from TSMC are ready to work with AHB
Kuala Lumpur, 18th February 2022: Recently, AHB plans to venture in high tech industry such as the manufacturing of semiconductor and autonomous self-driven vehicle.
In the past weeks, AHB has been inviting many giant semiconductor companies, developers of autonomous self-driven vehicle and their respective partners from Taiwan to set up their overseas plant in Malaysia.
Currently, the big boys in the semiconductor business in Taiwan are Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited (“TSMC”), United Microelectronics Corporation (“UMC”) and Foxconn Technology Group (“Foxconn”).
According to a source close to the deal, AHB has successfully held a landmark meeting with partners from TSMC today. Those partners are ready to work with AHB to set up a high tech semiconductor plant in Malaysia. They are going to be flying into Malaysia and confirm their commitment via a formal agreement within a week or two.
TSMC is a Taiwanese multinational semiconductor contract manufacturing and design company. It is the world’s most valuable semiconductor company, the world’s largest dedicated independent (pure-play) semiconductor foundry, and one of Taiwan’s largest companies, with its headquarters and main operations located in the Hsinchu Science Park in Hsinchu.

This collaboration would bring great financial benefits to AHB in this high tech industry. The current trade war between People Republic of China and United States of America has caused the industry to be highly regulated and sensitive, making it the industry barrier to entry to be much higher and at the same time more profitable.
This private sector effort is in line with Malaysia government effort to bring in Foreign Direct Investment (“FDI”) and provide job opportunities in our country as well as increase our country’s export numbers.
In the next meeting, AHB would be discussing on investment amount, capital structure and profit sharing ratio with their overseas partners from TSMC, before formalising their expectations.
